'Vivo for Education Scholarship' is an initiative of vivo India to support higher education of meritorious students coming from underprivileged sections of the society. Under this scholarship program, the students who are currently studying in Class 11th are provided with a fixed one-time financial assistance of INR 1500.00 to cover their school fee and other related academic expenses.

vivo India, a premium global smartphone brand has introduced this scholarship as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative to promote education by helping meritorious and needy students.

Vivo has collaborated with Protean (formerly known as NSDL) to announce a fresh phase of the ‘Vivo For Education’ initiative.
“Driven by the purpose to create a world of joy through superior yet simplified technology and experiences, the brand’s offerings help users capture joyful moments and have made it a leader in the Indian market,” the company said in a statement.

Aligned with the Government of India’s objective to support education, the programme aims to bridge the social and fiscal divide and support students from low-income families to continue their education.
The activity will equip children with a smartphone that can help them achieve an enriching learning experience even through online distance learning amid challenging times.

Under this leg of the initiative, students who are studying in class 11 presently will be provided with a Vivo smartphone and a cash scholarship.

Scholarship Name - vivo For Education Scholarship Program (For Class 11th)

Award details -  1) A new vivo Smartphone,  2) Cash Scholarship of INR 1500

Minimum Eligibility Criteria - 

Qualification criteria : Minimum 80% in Class 10,

Gender : All Gender

Scheme is available to only student whose family income is less than 400000.00

Financial Year - 2021-2022

Start Date From - 13/01/2022

Valid Up to - 13/02/2022

Scholarship Amount - (INR) 1500.00

This scholarship is open to students studying full time in Class 11th currently.

• What is the award that I will get ?

The shortlisted student will be receiving a brand new vivo Smartphone and a cash award of INR 1500

• Whether compulsory to have a bank account ?

Yes, students / parents need to have an active bank account.

•  I am currently studying in Class 10th / 12th. Can I apply for this scholarship program ?

No. This scholarship is open only for students who are currently studying in Class 11th.

• I have scored 77% marks in 10th Boards. Can I apply for this scholarship program ?

No. You cannot apply for this scholarship as it is open for students who have scored more than 80% marks in the 10th Board Exams.

• Any Gender Preferences ?

No, This scholarship is open for all gender.

•  Is there any location Preference ?

No, it is open for Pan India Location.

Earlier, Vivo supported the education of 100 underprivileged students by providing Vivo smartphones for their online education.

Additionally, the brand also provided cash scholarships worth Rs 8 lakhs to over 65 students as part of Vivo For Education’ initiative.
