Vivo is getting ready to launch its flagship smartphone of the year in India. The Vivo X80 series will make its debut in India on May 18 at 12:30 PM IST during a live event that will be broadcast on the company's official YouTube and social media channels. This portfolio has already been released in China, as well as other regions across the world. However, how the Vivo X80 series performs in the world's most competitive smartphone market remains to be seen.

The next Vivo X80 range could be priced at Rs 45,000 in India, with the Pro variant costing roughly Rs 65,000, to compete with the OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus 10 Pro.

The Vivo X80 comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120-Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset powers this gadget, which runs Android 12. It contains a 50 megapixel main lens, as well as a 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a portrait lens for images and movies. It contains a 4,500 mAh battery with 80 W rapid charging for backup.

Global Specifications for the Vivo X80 Pro 

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is found in the Vivo X80's top-end edition; however, this chipset is not new to the market, as it is already found in phones like the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, Realme GT 2 Pro, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The Vivo X80 Pro features a quad-camera system with a 50-megapixel main lens, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide angle lens, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait lens. This flagship phone is powered by a 4,700mAh battery.

When it comes to the display, the Vivo X80 Pro has a 6.78-inch QHD+ display with a 120-Hz refresh rate.
