This is due to the Bash/entirely Mtn's solid aluminium frame and fork, as well as the lack of front or rear suspension. It also lacks a dropper post, and there's no graceful method to build one on your own, as far as I can see. The only shock absorber on this bike is the SR Suntour NCX seat post, which has a travel of up to 50mm.
The absence of those characteristics, according to Harley-Davidson, is the reason to purchase the Bash/Mtn. "There's no fiddly suspension to tweak, no difficult drivetrain to change - just two wheels, one gear, and one purpose," the business added.
The Bash/Mtn appears to be a great e-bike once you get over the unusual styling. It has a replaceable 529Wh battery that, depending on the terrain and drive mode, should provide between 30 and 95 miles of range. The battery takes just under five hours to charge to full capacity, however it can be charged to 75 percent in approximately two and a half hours. The Bash/Mtn, being a Class 1 e-bike, will stop giving assistance once you reach a speed of 20 miles per hour. TRP hydraulic disc brakes and Michelin 27.5-inch tubeless-ready tyres round out the package.
At $3,999, the Bash/Mtn is on the lower end of what you can expect to pay for an electric mountain bike from Canyon, Giant, or Trek, but those versions are quite different bikes. The Bash/Mtn will be produced in limited numbers, with only 1,050 units sold in the United States.
