The National Informatics Centre (NIC) is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026—a milestone marking five decades of spearheading India's digital transformation and e-Governance initiatives. In collaboration with MyGov, NIC is inviting citizens to shape its golden jubilee identity by participating in a Logo and Tagline Contest.

Key Contest Details

• Purpose:
  To design a fresh, innovative logo and a catchy tagline that capture NIC’s remarkable journey, its impact on India's digital revolution, and its future aspirations.

• Contest Period:
  Start Date: March 22, 2025
  Last Date: April 10, 2025 at 17:30 IST

• Eligibility:
  Open to all Indian citizens—including students, professionals, and the general public. Both individual and team entries are welcome, but each participant or team can submit only one entry.

• Submission Requirements:

  • Logo Format: Must be submitted in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.

  • Design Specifications:

    • Designed digitally to ensure it can be scaled and adapted (in both color and black & white) for use across various platforms (websites, mobile apps, social media, print, etc.).

    • The logo should be high resolution (minimum 300 DPI) and free of pixelation or watermarks.

  • Originality:

    • Both the logo and tagline must be original works; any form of plagiarism or imitation will lead to disqualification.

  • Accompanying Brief:

    • A short rationale (up to 100 words) explaining how your design reflects NIC's journey and future vision.

  • Compliance:

    • Designs must adhere to government norms, including guidelines from the Digital Brand Identity Manual.

  • Best Logo Winner: ₹1,00,000

  • Best Tagline Winner: ₹50,000
