The South Korean tech company has begun sending out invitations to the media for its second major launch event. The event will be streamed live and will take place on March 17 at 07:30p.m .
Samsung hasn't revealed which devices would be unveiled at the event, despite the fact that the brand's event invitation explicitly specifies that it will be focused on launching its mid-range Galaxy A-series smartphones. If speculations are to be accepted, Samsung could release three devices: the Galaxy A33, A53, and A73.
Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A53
The Snapdragon 750G chipset is believed to be used in the Samsung Galaxy A73, while the Samsung Exynos 1200 could be used in the Galaxy A53. While there are no official information regarding the new phone yet, speculations say that it will look similar to the Samsung Galaxy A72. It has a 6.7-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. It's also possible that the phone's measurements (163.8 x 76.0 x 7.6mm) are the same.
However, additional hardware modifications are planned, with the A73 expected to include a new 108MP primary camera sensor in addition to the new chip. In comparison to the A72, this new sensor is said to increase the camera Iceland by 1.7 mm on the phone's back panner.
According to reports, the phone will be IP67 certified. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W quick charging capability is also available. Three years of system upgrades and four years of security updates will be provided for the phone.
Out of the four phones, the Galaxy A73 5G is likely to be the most expensive. The Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A53 5G, on the other hand, are believed to offer identical specs.
Samsung Galaxy A33, Galaxy A23
Both the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G smartphones are expected to include a 6.4-inch Full HD + AMOLED display and a 6.6-inch full-HD IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz, according to reports. Both devices will be powered by Android 11. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 and Dimensity 720 processors will power the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G, respectively.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A23 5G will both have a quad rear camera unit with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor, a 5-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel shooter. The Galaxy A23 5G, on the other hand, could have a 50-megapixel primary camera, as well as an 8-megapixel sensor and two 2-megapixel cameras. Furthermore, both Galaxy A-series phones are expected to include a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging capabilities.
