An installer for Windows that can boot up without a Microsoft account is created by Rufus beta release 3.19.
In comparison to its predecessor, Windows 11, it is more difficult to install since it places limitations on older CPUs and necessitates an online connection and Microsoft account. Fortunately, there are workarounds that make it possible to upgrade to Windows 11 on CPUs that aren't supported, and the firm isn't preventing those solutions. But you can now use a freeware called Rufus to effortlessly install Windows 11 from scratch and set up the machine with just a local account.
IT departments have been using the app for a while to make bootable Windows installations quickly. According to Ars Technica, the most recent beta release now includes circumventions as well as the ability to remove the need for an online Microsoft account. Computers without TPM 2.0 (including Intel Macs), with less than 4GB of RAM, or with less than 64GB of storage can be bypassed, and you can also automatically turn off data gathering.
Similar to previous approaches, you'll need to completely turn off your computer during setup if you want to avoid the Microsoft account need. The Rufus technique, however, greatly simplifies the process by avoiding manual registry adjustments and using cost-free, open-source software.
The requirements for an internet connection and a Microsoft account when upgrading to Windows 11 Home last year irritated some customers, and now with the most recent 22H2 update, the limitations also apply to Windows 11 Pro. Additionally, Microsoft might begin placing a watermark on devices that violate the limitations, similar to how it handles Windows installations that are not serialised. At any time it sees fit, Microsoft may also prevent the installation of software updates on unsupported machines.
