The source claims that on December 23, India will see the introduction of the Redmi Note 12 series. The information may not be accurate, he continued, as it came from a new source.
The Redmi Note 12 5G series home page is now active on the Xiaomi India website. Similar to the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+, which were unveiled in China in October, the teaser on the company's website hints that it may release as many as three models.
Specifications for the Redmi Note 12 series 5G
The 6.67-inch OLED display on the Redmi Note 12 series features Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro models have a 16-megapixel selfie camera, compared to the Note 12's 8-megapixel front camera.
A 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system is featured in the standard model. The Pro model has a 50 megapixel primary camera with OIS support, while the Pro+ has a 200 megapixel primary camera with OIS support. On the back of each Pro model is a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor powers the Redmi Note 12, while the Dimensity 1080 SoC is found in the Pro variants. LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery are shared by all three smartphones. The fast charging capacities of the Note 12, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Pro+ are 33W, 67W, and 120W, respectively. The Note 12 series sports a side-facing fingerprint scanner and runs Android 12 with MIUI 13.
