India's businesses now have access to three new WhatsApp features.
A number of new WhatsApp capabilities for users and companies were revealed by Mark Zuckerberg on Wednesday.
At WhatsApp's Conversations event in Mumbai, these improvements—which are aimed at streamlining communications with businesses utilizing WhatsApp conversations—were unveiled. For WhatsApp business accounts, Flows, Payments, and Meta Verified are three brand-new capabilities. Recently, WhatsApp received these functionalities.

Thanks to WhatsApp Flows, businesses will be able to offer a range of services to customers inside WhatsApp chat windows. Customers can simply choose their train seats, order food, or buy tickets without ever leaving the conversation if a business offers booking services, for instance. The company WhatsApp claims that "With Flows, businesses will be able to offer rich menus and customizable forms that support various needs." Through the WhatsApp Business Platform, WhatsApp will soon make this functionality available to businesses all around the world.
WhatsApp is also making direct transactions within chat conversations simpler. For WhatsApp users in India, the option to add products from a WhatsApp company to a shopping cart and proceed with payment via a range of methods, including compatible UPI applications, debit and credit cards, and more, is now accessible.
WhatsApp is also providing Meta certified features to WhatsApp companies to help them establish a reputation for trustworthiness. After being validated, businesses will receive a symbol that resembles a blue tick that will attest to their legitimacy, enhance support for their accounts, and offer protection from impersonation. There will also be premium features for this service, like the ability to create a WhatsApp page that can be found through web searches and multi-device support for multiple staff members to oversee customer interactions.
WhatsApp Channels are now accessible to users of WhatsApp on Android, iOS, and the web. Users of WhatsApp now have a private way to communicate with and obtain information from a range of businesses, sports teams, musicians, and other well-known groups and individuals thanks to this new function.
