HIGHLIGHTS
  • Latest beta version
  • improved interface
  • introduction of communities and Channels

The app is undergoing a significant design update that strays from its recognizable appearance. To set the new design apart from chats in dark mode, the bottom bar is a lighter gray color. Users of the dark theme will also notice newly designed floating action buttons and chat bubbles.please Both iOS and Android users will be able to get the update. However, there is no information on when it will be implemented internationally.

For the web client, WhatsApp is developing a new sidebar and a group chat filter tool. They will eventually be accessible and have the goal of making conversations and navigating the app better.

With the addition of groups and Channels, WhatsApp is becoming quite congested. The latter enables celebrities to create their own WhatsApp one-side broadcast platform so they may share information, make announcements, or engage with fans without disclosing their phone numbers.

Several emojis can be used by fans to respond to the update, but they cannot be replied to. Numerous well-known individuals, including PM Modi and Akshay Kumar, joined the Indian channels.

WhatsApp is also making direct transactions within chat conversations simpler. For WhatsApp users in India, the option to add products from a WhatsApp company to a shopping cart and proceed with payment via a range of methods, including compatible UPI applications, debit and credit cards, and more, is now accessible.

WhatsApp is also providing Meta certified features to WhatsApp companies to help them establish a reputation for trustworthiness. After being validated, businesses will receive a symbol that resembles a blue tick that will attest to their legitimacy, enhance support for their accounts, and offer protection from impersonation. There will also be premium features for this service, like the ability to create a WhatsApp page that can be found through web searches and multi-device support for multiple staff members to oversee customer interactions.

WhatsApp Channels are now accessible to users of WhatsApp on Android, iOS, and the web. Users of WhatsApp now have a private way to communicate with and obtain information from a range of businesses, sports teams, musicians, and other well-known groups and individuals thanks to this new function.
