Yamaha has introduced six new audio devices in the Indian market, three
of which are over-the-ear headphones and three of which are wireless neckband
earbuds.
Yamaha's latest audio products range in price from Rs 4,800 to Rs
43,300. So, let's look at the specifications and characteristics of these
devices.
Wireless earphones by Yamaha EP-E70A, EP-E50A, and EP-E30A
Yamaha EP-E30A Specifications →
The Yamaha EP-E30A has 8.6mm dynamic drivers and supports SBC and AAC
codecs. The Bluetooth connection has a range of up to 10 metres, and the
earphones have voice assistant compatibility and a comfortable neckband
design. The EP-E30A has a battery life of up to 14 hours.
Yamaha EP-E50A Specifications →
In addition to the SBC and AAC codecs, the Yamaha EP-E50A includes a pair of
9mm drivers and support for Qualcomm aptX HD Bluetooth codecs. The EP-E50A
also has a Bluetooth range of 10m and Active noise reduction. The neckband
earphones weigh 35 grammes and are said to have a playback time of roughly 9
hours.
Yamaha EP-E70A Specifications →
The Yamaha EP-E70A is the highest tier option of Yamaha's current neckband,
with features such as ANC, huge 9.2mm dynamic drivers, and 18 hours of
playback duration. The EP-E70A also has a much thicker neckband, which
contributes to its weight of 90 grammes.

The Yamaha wireless neckband earbuds start at Rs 4,800 and go up to Rs
12,400 for the Yamaha EP-E50A. The Yamaha EP-E70A is the most expensive of

Wireless headphones by Yamaha YH-L700A, YH-E700A, and YH-E500A
Specifications for the Yamaha YH-E500A →
The Yamaha YH-500A is an on-ear headphone with 40mm drivers. SBC, AAC,
Qualcomm aptX, and aptX HD Bluetooth codecs, as well as ANC, are supported
by the headphones. The headphones have a total weight of 200 grammes and a
battery life of up to 38 hours. With a 3.5mm headphone connection, the
Yamaha YH-E500A can also be used as a wired headset.
Specifications for the Yamaha YH-E700A →
The Yamaha YH-E700A is an over-the-ear model with 40mm drivers. It includes
features like as active noise cancellation and voice assistant support. SBC,
AAC, and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codecs are also supported by the
headphones. The device boasts a swivel folding design for mobility and a
3.5mm headphone connection for Hi-Res Audio compatibility. It weighs 325
grams and has a playback time of up to 35 hours on a single charge.
Specifications for the Yamaha YH-L700A →
The Yamaha YH-L700A is the brand's top-tier offering, and it includes
everything, including 40mm dynamic drivers that provide 3D sound immersion
with head tracking and internal microphones to assess listening
circumstances. The YH-L700A also has a swivel folding mechanism, making it
convenient to transport. It also incorporates Active Noise Cancellation and
a 3.5mm connector for listening to Hi-Res Audio through a headphone jack.
The device has a playback time of 34 hours and weighs 330 grams.

The Yamaha YH-E500A and YH-E700A are available for Rs 14,800 and Rs 29,900,
respectively. The YH-L700A, which has the best features of the lot, costs Rs
