FEATURED POST

A new electric scooter from Yamaha might debut on April 11 in India

Recently, Yamaha registered the names E01 and EC-05. The second is an electric scooter that has previously been offered for purchase in Taiwan. It now appears that the business is getting ready to introduce a new electric scooter in India very soon.

A scooter in the max design may be the Japanese automaker's entry into the Indian market, according to a Rushlane report. This will be a high-end product that likely competes with models like the Ather 450X and Bajaj Chetak. The bike will include a full digital LCD panel console, the report adds. Additionally, it will support Bluetooth, and customers will be able to access a number of features and functionalities via the Yamaha smartphone app.

Information about this future electric scooter is currently unavailable. However, it is anticipated to deliver performance on par with 110cc gasoline scooters like the TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa. Additionally, it may have a range of 70 to 80 kilometres and a top speed between 80 and 100 kmph. Additionally, it is anticipated to have a variety of ride modes, which control speed and range. LED headlights, alloy wheels up front and back, stylish rearview mirrors, and a plush single-piece seat are among rumoured features.

It should come as no surprise that Yamaha intends to introduce a new electric scooter given the increasing popularity of electric vehicles in the automotive sector. Due to the popularity of scooters in India, the corporation may also provide a variety of ownership alternatives. A subscription-based plan supported by battery swapping infrastructure will be one of these choices. So pay attention as we release new updates.
