Remember that since EV subsidies may fluctuate between states, the precise amount may change depending on where you live. The EV manufacturer claims that the increased input costs are to blame for the price increase. Notably, the Ather Dot portable charger, which was previously offered for just 1 INR, was now priced at almost 5,500 INR in order to compensate for the price increase.

As a result, the Ather 450 Plus's new pricing is approximately 109,000 INR (or roughly 1,470 USD), with the higher end costing 129,000 INR (or roughly 1,740 USD) after subsidies in major areas like Mumbai. On the other hand, the most expensive 450X type electric scooter costs about 151,000 INR in places like Bangalore (roughly 2,040 US Dollars). Although the cost of an electric scooter is growing, there have been no modifications made to the hardware or design of the scooters.
In Mumbai, the 450 Plus now costs about 14,600 INR (or about 200 USD) more than the Ola S1, while the 450X electric scooter costs about 3,600 INR (or about USD 50) more than the Ola S1 Pro. For those who don't know, India produces the 450 series of electric scooters and has just begun ramping up production at its facilities in South India.
